Montessori Flashcards - De huisjes van de dierenjongen

My 2-year-old loves sorting the animals into their homes, and the thick cardstock holds up well to enthusiastic little hands. It keeps her focused for a surprisingly long time, and I've already noticed her making connections between the bear and the cave.

The animal-to-environment matching gives my three-year-old a clear, focused task without needing much explanation from me—she just gets it. The 30 cards feel light and easy for her hands, though I do wish the box had a sturdier closure for storage.

The cards are sturdy enough for toddler hands, and my son keeps asking to match the bear with the forest again. It’s simple, but I’ve already watched him figure out the logic on his own—which is exactly what we wanted.
