Learn the fast rules of Ce l'Ho – Edizione Tascabile, the pocket-sized Italian language game from Clementoni. Perfect for travel, parties, and family fun.
Quick Answer
Ce l'Ho – Edizione Tascabile is a fast-paced Italian language card game for 2+ players. The goal is to be the first to collect a set of cards by correctly answering word definition, synonym, and grammar questions.
Why This Game Works for Travel
The pocket-sized format means you can slip it into a bag or backpack without adding bulk. It plays in about 20 minutes, so it fits into short breaks like train rides or café stops. Because it focuses on Italian language skills, it also doubles as a light learning tool for native speakers and learners alike.
What’s in the Box
The game includes a deck of cards with questions covering definitions of uncommon words, synonyms, antonyms, and basic grammar. The compact packaging keeps everything organized, but there is no board or timer – just the cards and the rules leaflet.
How to Play Ce l'Ho – Step by Step
- 1. Set Up the Deck: Shuffle the cards and place them face down in the center. Each player takes a turn drawing the top card and reading the question aloud. Common mistake: Do not look at the card before your turn – that gives an unfair advantage. Keep the deck hidden until your draw.
- 2. Answer the Question: The player who drew the card must answer correctly within a few seconds. Questions cover word definitions, synonyms, antonyms, and grammar. If you answer correctly, you keep the card. If you are unsure, you can pass, but then the card is discarded. Common mistake: Taking too long to answer – agree on a time limit (e.g., 10 seconds) so the game stays fast. Set a timer to keep the pace lively.
- 3. Collect Cards to Win: The first player to collect a set number of cards (e.g., 5 or 7) wins. For a shorter game, aim for 3 cards. For longer sessions, play until the deck runs out and count cards. Common mistake: Losing track of how many cards each player has – use a small notepad or just stack them visibly. Decide the winning number before you start.
