Caravaggio, "Bacchus" - 1000 pezzi

The colors in this Caravaggio reproduction are surprisingly vivid, making it a joy to piece together. I spent a rainy afternoon on it and the 1000 pieces fit snugly without any fraying.

The 1000 pieces have a nice, tight fit that makes them satisfying to click into place, and the glossy finish brings out the drama in Caravaggio's chiaroscuro. It took me a few evenings to finish, but the detail in Bacchus’s face was worth every minute.

The colors on this Bacchus reproduction are so rich that it looks like a tiny museum piece when finished—the dark background really makes the skin tones pop. I finished it over three rainy evenings, and the 1000 pieces held together well enough to move sections around without them falling apart.
